Sorry for the late response,,
Not sure, what happened to your clams,,,
Just in case you run into the same situation. ^^;
1.	put clams into clean salted water(almost same as seawater)for 3~5hours. 
Let the clam come out with the sand.
2.	Dump the water, under running water, wash the clams shell.
3.	Drain all the water, put them into the Ziploc.
4.	Store in the “Freezer” you can store 3~4 weeks
5.	when you use them, DO NOT defrost, directly put into 
the pan or pot, whatever you are cooking.
*if you defrost them and heat them, shell won’t open!!
